THE TECHNOLOGY

The Spezia brings aerospace-grade titanium road bike construction to its absolute performance zenith. Our lightest disc brake road model—over 200 grams lighter than any other titanium disc brake road bike made today. All Spezia tubesets have wall thicknesses adjusted in-house to meet exacting size-specific parameters and precise weight standards.

6AL/4V HANDCRAFTED TOPTUBE

The centerpiece of the Spezia is a true Litespeed exclusive technology: our 6AL/4V sheet-multiformed titanium top tube. Handcrafted from a flat sheet into a tubeset, our 6AL/4V sheet top tube is lighter than a standard tube yet delivers greater tensile strength and lateral stiffness. The result is increased rigidity when climbing and sprinting, allowing for confident control on descents.

When you select tubeless-ready wheels and tires, the bike will come from the Litespeed factory with tires set up tubeless with Stan's NoTubes sealant.

If you would like innertubes, you can make a note in the "component request field" on your order, and we will be happy to accommodate.

If you want confirmation whether your specific wheel/tire selection will come tubeless, feel free to contact us via email or chat.

2x maximum chainring size is 54/40t (Shimano) or 56/43t (SRAM). 1x maximum chainring size is 46t.

The Spezia is designed around 700c x 28mm-32mm tires. It has clearance to fit road tires up to 35mm wide.

Every Litespeed titanium frame is hand-built in the USA, in our factory in Chattanooga, Tennessee, by master framebuilders using premium, globally sourced materials.

The average lead time is 3-4 weeks. This is because every Litespeed titanium frame and complete bike is built to order. You will receive email updates informing you when we begin building and assembling your bike, and when it is shipped from our factory.

The Spezia is built with Litespeed's Superform SL 6/4 tubeset. Superform SL 6/4 is a superlight titanium tubeset that combines our 3AL/2.5V titanium Superform SL tubeset with a sheet-formed titanium top tube hand-crafted from a single ultra-thin sheet of 6AL/4V titanium. This is significantly lighter than a standard 3AL/2.5V top tube, while providing greater tensile strength and lateral stiffness for racing applications.

The Spezia is a road racing bike designed for road racing, crits, and general high-performance road riding.

The Spezia and Ultimate Disc have very similar race-oriented geometry and handling, but the Spezia is lighter and stiffer. The Arenberg has more upright, endurance-oriented geometry. The Arenberg is heavier, but provides more comfort and compliance.
