THE ULTIMATE BENCHMARK

When Litespeed introduced the Ultimate in 1987, it was the “ultimate” road bike, lusted after and raced by many of the sport’s most legendary riders. The Ultimate design has been refined over three decades, bringing the modern Ultimate even closer to perfection.

METICULOUSLY SHAPED TITANIUM

The Superform SL titanium tubeset is custom-formed using advanced titanium manipulation capabilities unique to Litespeed. With variable wall thickness and multi-dimensional shaping, the Ultimate ride experience exceeds that of any “regular” titanium road bike.

ULTIMATE ROAD PERFORMANCE

Modern performance meets classic titanium. We designed a bike with the targeted stiffness found in premium carbon road bikes, without sacrificing titanium’s magical ride quality. With 35mm tire clearance, the Ultimate is built to excel in every road riding scenario.

SUPERFORM SL TUBING

Our premium aerospace-grade Superform SL tubeset is custom-formed and cold-worked into 3D shapes with variable wall thickness to achieve precise flex characteristics and weight targets. Every tube is size-specific and fine-tuned to produce the perfect ride.

35MM TIRE CLEARANCE

Modern road racing demands modern tire clearance. The Ultimate will fit tires up to 35mm wide, giving you more options to choose a tire setup that will maximize comfort and minimize rolling resistance while opening up more roads for exploration.

CNC-MACHINED TITANIUM

All of Litespeed’s titanium dropouts, brake mounts, and small parts are designed and CNC-machined in-house. Components like our machined dropout and two-piece disc brake mount are lighter and stronger than any 3D-printed titanium equivalent.

When you select tubeless-ready wheels and tires, the bike will come from the Litespeed factory with tires set up tubeless with Stan's NoTubes sealant.

If you would like innertubes, you can make a note in the "component request field" on your order, and we will be happy to accommodate.

If you want confirmation whether your specific wheel/tire selection will come tubeless, feel free to contact us via email or chat.

2x maximum chainring size is 54/40t (Shimano) or 56/43t (SRAM). 1x maximum chainring size is 46t.

The Spezia is designed around 700c x 28mm-32mm tires. It has clearance to fit road tires up to 35mm wide.

Every Litespeed titanium frame is hand-built in the USA, in our factory in Chattanooga, Tennessee, by master framebuilders using premium, globally sourced materials.

The average lead time is 3-4 weeks. This is because every Litespeed titanium frame and complete bike is built to order. You will receive email updates informing you when we begin building and assembling your bike, and when it is shipped from our factory.

The Ultimate Disc is a road racing bike designed for road racing, crits, and general high-performance road riding.

The Spezia and Ultimate Disc have very similar race-oriented geometry and handling, but the Ultimate frame is slightly more compliant and a bit heavier, making it slightly more comfortable. The Arenberg has more upright, endurance-oriented geometry. The Arenberg is heavier, but provides even more comfort and compliance.

The Ultimate Disc is built with Litespeed's Superform SL tubeset. Superform SL is a superlight titanium tubeset that sets the benchmark for advanced titanium bicycle tubes. Superform SL is an aerospace-grade 3AL/2.5V titanium tubeset that is custom-formed and hand-crafted in-house, allowing us to employ multi-dimensional shaping and variable wall-thickness to minimize weight and maximize performance.
