Litespeed Cherohala
The Cherohala Skyway is a beautiful 43-mile National Scenic Byway connecting Tellico Plains, Tennessee, to Robbinsville, North Carolina, and it’s the inspiration for Litespeed’s most comfortable all-road capable titanium bike. With more relaxed geometry and a lively titanium ride that’s poised to play, we’ve found the perfect formula for all-day cycling nirvana and taking in scenic views with our all-road Cherohala. It is, without a doubt, the finest titanium all-road bike available.
Designed and built for road and gravel riders in seek of their next great outdoor adventure, the Litespeed Cherohala is the sister bike to the Arenberg, which means it’s endurance-focused with more comfort and a relaxed and upright riding position. However, it adds a bit more capability for unpaved dirt and gravel roads with increased tire clearance. It isn’t a full-on gravel bike, though. It sits in the space between endurance road and gravel bikes—the genre we fondly call “all-road.”
The Cherohala is built in the United States with Litespeed’s Pure LW titanium tube set, which is hand-crafted from aerospace grade 3V/2.5AL tubing and butted to save weight and enhance ride quality. It’s designed for riders who frequently mix paved and unpaved roads but aren’t necessarily purely focused on off-road performance. It’s the perfect compromise—enough tire clearance and stability to provide comfort and confidence on dirt and gravel roads but low weight and enough stiffness to feel fast and efficient on pavement. It’s perfect for the rider who needs one bike that will be ready for anything. This bike is our choice for conquering the legendary Cherohala Skyway before disappearing into the mountains beyond Tellico Plains to explore every mile of the roads less traveled.
