Ultimate Disc High-Performance Road/Aero Road
The Ultimate: two-wheeled perfection
What happens when you push a team of cyclists, engineers and craftsmen to create the most technologically-advanced titanium road racing frame? When you take off the limiters, the best imaginable ride is the result. That’s the Ultimate.
Indeed, it’s no overreach to say the Ultimate exemplifies all the things required in a pro-level performance race bike. Light weight, aerodynamics, stiffness, compliance and the unsurpassed stopping power of disc brakes are all delivered in deftly-handcrafted titanium frame making it the most technically-advanced race machine available—anywhere. The result is a design so special, so all-encompassing, it’s truly deserving of its legendary name.
There are very few road bike models with the lasting heritage of the Ultimate. It was first introduced as Litespeed’s premier 3AL-2.5V titanium race bike, utilizing our most progressive designs to create a bike with exceptional handling and stiffness characteristics. A USPRO national championship, several stage victories, even a UCI World Road Racing Championship—rebadged— were amassed on Litespeed’s then flagship model.
Today, that heritage lives on, but the ceiling of what’s possible in a race bike has been raised to an even higher standard. Our team of craftsmen have pushed the envelope of what’s possible to create the finest titanium race machine. Thin, swept seatstays deliver both enhanced comfort and wind-cheating aerodynamics. All the frame’s tubesets have been shaped with purpose, promising out-of-saddle sprint stiffness and responsive climbing acumen, all delivered at premium level with a geometry that delivers that perfect balance of handling, quickness, light weight and climbing punch.
The Litespeed Ultimate Disc frame adds the benefits of disc braking, making long descents and hard, late stopping no problem. The design also allows for greater frame clearance, permitting for the use of up to 30mm tires. When it comes to traction, control and speed, it simply doesn’t get any better.
And being a Litespeed, it delivers that signature titanium ride; stiff as you want, but over the long hours, comfortable as the material absorbs the buzz out of even the roughest chip-sealed roads. This is the best of the best in titanium.
Don’t see your dream build of the Ultimate among our offerings? Whether choosing standard frame decals or our complimentary, (and beautifully understated) etched finish upgrade, even a bespoke colored paint treatment to truly set your ride apart from all others, our team in Tennessee is ready to make your Ultimate Disc frame yours to the letter; the epitome of two-wheeled perfection.
