 | | Keith | | New Jersey | | 03 Pisgah | After responding with my fire station on 9/11 in response to the attacks on the World Trade Center I decided to race the 2002 season in the memory of my 343 brother firefighters that made the ultimate sacrifice that morning. I received numerous sponsors and set out on a full suspension bike. I wanted to upgrade midway through the season and Strictly Bicycles of Fort Lee, NJ suggested a Pisgah. I went on to finish third place overall in the New Jersey State Cross-Country Championship Series. I moved up a class and continue to race.
Though the bike is not stock the changes where not made to any problems. I chose to place a carbon seat post and handlebars and upgraded a few parts to XTR. It climbs like I am being pulled and descends as smooth as my old downhill bike. The bike rocks and I am planning on getting a road bike from Litespeed next.
